Sound Forms are created with a custom designed drawing machine. This machine is a 2.2 x 2.2 meter xy plotter driven by stepper motors and CNCjs with a Protoneer micro controller. I "affect" a line or point with 2 or 3 different sound waves or pure hertz (Hz) in C4d and export the resulting line patterns to Inkscape to convert to Gcode which drives the XY plotter. I choose the colors relating to what the sound is. This is an experiment toward developing a language of synesthesia. This project is still developing and will be updated soon.
